Go through microsoft365.com/setup webpage, Sign in, and enter the product key to activate Microsoft 365 or Office on your computer.
If you are using any other Microsoft service such as OneDrive, Outlook.com, Skype, or Xbox Live, it means you already have an account that you can use for any Microsoft activity.
To activate Microsoft 365 setup, go to microsoft365.com/setup and follow instructions.

Setting Up Microsoft 365:

  • Go to "Microsoft365.com" and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  • Enter your product key or purchase confirmation number.
  • Download and install Microsoft 365 on your device.
  • Follow the prompts to activate and set up Microsoft 365.

Download and install Microsoft 365

  • Go to microsoft365.com.
  • Sign in using your Microsoft 365 account.
  • Look for the “Install” button on the website.
  • Click it to download the installer.
  • Open the downloaded file from your Downloads folder.
  • When prompted, allow the app to make changes to your device.

Alternatively, you can also download and install Microsoft 365 through the Microsoft Store:

  • Open the Microsoft Store app.
  • Search for "Microsoft 365".
  • Click "Install" to download and install.
  • Follow the prompts to activate and set up.

Activate Microsoft 365 with your product key

To activate Microsoft 365 with your product key, follow these steps:

  • Go to Office.com/setup or Microsoft365.com/setup.
  • Sign in with your Microsoft account or create one if you don’t have an account yet.
  • If prompted, enter your product key (without hyphens) in the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
  • If you don’t see the option to enter your key, it might have been entered automatically during setup.
  • Complete the redemption process by following the on-screen instructions.
  • Once activated, you can download and install Microsoft 365 apps.
